GSPANN is hiring a Systems Engineer with expertise in Business Workflow Automation (BWA) to manage enterprise tools such as Control-M and ServiceNow, building automations and integrations that keep IT operations running smoothly.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise tool environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between enterprise platforms, business applications, and enterprise tools using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, middleware, and automation frameworks.
  • Build automation workflows, job scheduling solutions, operational dashboards, and self-service capabilities across enterprise platforms.
  • Manage BMC Control-M scheduling infrastructure, including batch jobs, workflows, dependencies, and calendars.
  • Support Control-M upgrades, migrations, and environment maintenance, troubleshooting job failures and performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement scheduling standards, automation policies, and monitoring solutions for the Control-M environment.
  • Manage ServiceNow modules and workflows, including forms, business rules, and service catalogues.
  • Implement automation for Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management processes within ServiceNow.
  • Support ServiceNow platform enhancements and upgrades.
  • Develop data mapping, transformation, and workflow orchestration logic across integrated systems.
  • Ensure seamless communication between IT Service Management (ITSM), monitoring, scheduling, and reporting tools.
  • Support enterprise tools incidents and escalations as a primary technical resource, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and vendor teams during major incident and problem management activities.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge repositories.

Skills and Experience

  • Hold a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), BMC Control-M certification, or ITIL Foundation certification, each of which is an advantage.
  • Bring experience in enterprise tool administration, management, integration, and platform engineering.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of workflow automation and orchestration platforms.
  • Apply hands-on experience with BMC Control-M administration, job scheduling and automation, workflow design and dependency management, batch processing operations, and monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Work with ServiceNow administration and engineering, including workflow and catalog development, business rules and script development, and Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management modules.
  • Utilize REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, integration platforms, middleware, and automation frameworks, along with PowerShell, Shell scripting, or Python.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management, and Service Operations.
  • Manage production-critical issues independently, bringing strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Develop strong documentation and process-improvement practices while mentoring junior engineers and driving operational excellence.
  • Bring experience working in Global Capability Center (GCC), Managed Services, or Global Operations environments, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
