Description

GSPANN is hiring an SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to lead SAP PP full-lifecycle implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support. The role focuses on configuring PP master data, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Production Orders, and Shop Floor Control.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP Production Planning (PP) full-lifecycle implementations — blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Design SAP PP solutions by translating business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Implement SAP PP configuration across Master Data, Demand Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Production Orders, and Shop Floor Control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM) for seamless integration and data flow.
  • Support post-implementation troubleshooting across production planning and manufacturing.
  • Develop functional specifications, process flows, test cases, and user training material.
  • Optimize SAP PP processes by identifying improvement opportunities and recommending enhancements.
  • Drive data migration and validation across project phases.
  • Manage delivery alongside project managers and technical teams within scope and timeline.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on SAP PP functional consulting experience.
  • Apply experience from 2–3 full-lifecycle SAP PP implementations.
  • Work with strong Production Planning processes — demand planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production order processing, capacity planning, and reporting.
  • Develop integration solutions across MM, SD, QM, and PM modules.
  • Utilize business process analysis and system requirements documentation skills.
  • Bring proficiency in preparing functional specifications and leading unit/integration testing.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Apply independent and team-oriented working styles to collaborative environments.
