SAP Business Warehouse Consultant

GSPANN is hiring SAP BW Consultants with 6+ years of experience in SAP BW 7.x, BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA. Design data models, develop ETL flows, and build optimized reports using BEx Query Designer.

• Design and develop data models and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) flows in SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW), including Classic BW, BW on HANA, and SAP BW/4HANA.
• Extract, transform, and load data from both SAP and non-SAP systems using DataSources and InfoProviders.
• Build and enhance InfoObjects, Data Store Objects (DSO), InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, Open Operational Data Store (ODS) Views, and MultiProviders.
• Create and optimize Business Explorer (BEx) Queries, Analysis for Office (AO) reports, and other front-end tools.
• Collaborate with functional teams from Financial Accounting (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Human Resources (HR) to gather and clarify data and reporting requirements.
• Monitor data loads proactively, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
• Support and maintain existing SAP BW landscapes while participating in upgrade and migration projects, including transitions from SAP BW to SAP BW/4HANA.
• Ensure high data quality and consistency across all reporting layers.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and user training materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP BW (version 7.x or higher).
• Demonstrate strong expertise in SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Possess practical experience in SAP BW on HANA or SAP BW/4HANA implementations.
• Apply ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) skills to create routines, enhancements, and perform debugging.
• Understand SAP modules, including FI, Controlling (CO), SD, MM, and HR, from a reporting perspective.
• Develop and manage queries using BEx Query Designer and Analysis for Office.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
