GSPANN is hiring a Support Engineer with expertise in Azure Integration Services (AIS) to support and maintain enterprise integration platforms built on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on troubleshooting Azure Integration Services, managing incidents, supporting APIs and integrations, and ensuring reliable business-critical data flows.
Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive and manage incidents escalated by the Help Desk and Level 1 (L1) support teams related to Microsoft Azure integration services.
- Resolve integration issues by re-running services or batch processes, restarting services, and analyzing exception logs using tools such as Splunk and Azure Application Insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Known Issue Database (KIDB) and perform detailed root cause analysis for complex incidents when required.
- Escalate issues requiring major code changes, configuration updates, data mapping modifications, or integration design changes to the Continuous Improvement team after providing temporary workarounds or interim solutions.
- Participate in triage calls and collaborate with multiple teams to resolve cross-functional incidents.
- Update incident and problem ticket status accurately in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
- Create, update, and maintain SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge base articles to improve operational efficiency.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrate hands-on experience supporting Azure Integration Services (AIS).
- Apply strong knowledge of data mapping, exception handling, error messaging, queue-based and event-driven integrations, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.
- Troubleshoot and support Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) effectively.
- Work with Git and version control systems for code and configuration management.
- Demonstrate understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Develop task automation solutions for content delivery, deployment activities, and operational effort reduction, with exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based automation tools considered an advantage.
- Work effectively within Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
