GSPANN is hiring a Senior Pimcore Developer to build and customize product information management solutions, focusing on data modeling, workflow automation, and multi-channel data syndication.
Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Build, configure, and deploy Pimcore to manage product information.
• Implement complex data models, object classes, class inheritance, and field collections in Pimcore.
• Develop and customize Pimcore bundles, plugins, and extensions.
• Optimize application performance through caching (Redis) and search (Elasticsearch).
• Ensure data governance by implementing Pimcore workflows and rules, including approval processes, validation rules, content enrichment steps, and channel configuration, to maintain data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Develop and maintain mapping templates and syndication rules in Pimcore to distribute product data to external sales channels such as Amazon, Walmart, and other eCommerce platforms.
• Support GS1 integration setup with hands-on configuration experience.
Quality Assurance and Testing
• Ensure Pimcore functionalities meet specified requirements through unit testing and collaboration with QA teams.
• Drive resolution of issues related to data imports, exports, and integrations through troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Develop documentation covering design, configuration, and development processes for future reference.
• Support internal teams through training on using and managing the Pimcore system.
Skills and Experience
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Pimcore or Symfony certification is an advantage.
• Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience with Pimcore (PIM/DAM).
• Demonstrate proficiency in PHP and the Symfony Framework.
• Apply hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for search and filtering.
• Work with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of data modeling, taxonomy modeling, entity-relationship design, and PIM best practices.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Apply security best practices and role/permission management.
• Bring familiarity with other systems such as ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms, which is an advantage.
• Demonstrate experience with Pimcore Enterprise Edition (PIM) features, which is an advantage.
• Bring prior experience working on projects involving large datasets and complex data structures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues.
• Apply a solid understanding and prior hands-on experience in setting up GS1 integration.
