SAP MM Consultant

GSPANN is hiring an SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant to provide application support and configuration across the SAP MM module. The role focuses on resolving incidents, supporting key MM processes and integrating MM with Financial Accounting (FI), Warehouse Management (WM), and Production Planning (PP).

• Support day-to-day operations across SAP Materials Management (MM).
• Manage incidents and service requests within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Implement MM configuration changes aligned to user requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver enhancements.
• Develop solutions for master data and transactional data issues across Material and Vendor records.
• Lead integration support across MM, Financial Accounting (FI), Warehouse Management (WM), and Production Planning (PP).
• Design test plans covering unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
• Build functional documentation, user guides, and knowledge base content.
• Optimize custom enhancements with SAP ABAP developers and debug defects.
• Ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing activities tied to MM.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of SAP MM support experience.
• Apply strong knowledge of key MM processes — Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt (GR/IR), and Inventory Management.
• Work with SAP ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or SAP Solution Manager.
• Develop hands-on SAP MM configuration aligned to business processes.
• Utilize knowledge of Intermediate Documents (IDocs), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and third-party system interfaces.
• Bring strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
