SAP BW Consultant

GSPANN is hiring an SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Consultant to design, develop, and support data models, ETL flows, and reports across SAP BW on HANA and BW/4HANA. The role focuses on building data models, optimizing BEx queries and Analysis for Office (AO), and supporting migrations from classic BW to BW/4HANA.

• Design data models and ETL flows across SAP Business Warehouse (BW) — Classic BW, BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA.
• Build Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) flows that pull from SAP and non-SAP systems via DataSources and InfoProviders.
• Develop InfoObjects, Data Store Objects (DSO), InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, and MultiProviders.
• Optimize BEx queries and Analysis for Office (AO) outputs alongside other front-end tools.
• Collaborate with functional teams across Financial Accounting (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and HR to understand data and reporting needs.
• Lead data load monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Support existing BW landscapes and participate in upgrades or BW/4HANA migrations.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across reporting layers.
• Manage technical documentation and user training materials.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP BW experience (BW 7.x or higher).
• Apply strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and ETL.
• Work with SAP BW on HANA or SAP BW/4HANA landscapes.
• Develop in SAP ABAP for routines, enhancements, and debugging.
• Utilize working knowledge of SAP modules — Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and HR — from a reporting perspective.
• Manage BEx Query Designer and Analysis for Office (AO) artifacts.
• Bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Apply experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BusinessObjects, which is an advantage.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Native HANA modeling — Calculation Views and Core Data Services (CDS) Views.
• Work with OData and SAP Fiori integration patterns; exposure to SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics is an advantage.
• Utilize Agile or Scrum methodologies and tooling such as Jira, ServiceNow, or SAP Solution Manager.
