Quality Engineering Automation Lead

GSPANN is hiring a Quality Engineering Automation Lead to design and build scalable test automation frameworks across multiple technologies, focusing on Behavior-Driven Development and AI-powered testing innovation.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI, functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) automation frameworks using Cucumber and collaborate with business stakeholders to define test scenarios.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation components following industry best practices.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Integrate automation suites into Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably using Microsoft Azure DevOps, to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Explore and leverage AI-driven Quality Engineering practices, including intelligent test generation, test optimization, and defect prediction.
• Collaborate on future initiatives involving Agentic AI and Generative AI in Quality Assurance, including Large Language Model (LLM)-powered test automation, autonomous testing workflows, and AI-assisted quality assurance solutions.
• Participate in proof-of-concepts involving LangChain, LangGraph, Python-based AI frameworks, and AI agents to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

• Bring strong hands-on experience in Java programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Demonstrate expertise in Selenium WebDriver automation framework development and maintenance.
• Apply experience in Cucumber Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework with Gherkin-based test development.
• Work with Playwright automation using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Develop strong knowledge of UI, functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end automation testing.
• Manage design and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Git for source code management and version control.
• Bring experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline implementation, preferably using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Apply good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and Quality Assurance best practices.
• Work with Representational State Transfer (REST) API testing and automation, which is an advantage.
• Demonstrate experience in mobile automation testing using Appium or similar tools, which is an advantage.
• Utilize high-level understanding or practical implementation experience of Agentic AI-based Quality Assurance solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), LangChain, LangGraph, Python, AI agents, Prompt Engineering, test case generation, and intelligent test automation.
• Develop interest in adopting AI-driven quality engineering practices and automation innovation.
• Manage strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Bring excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
