GSPANN is hiring an AI Playwright Automation Architect to design enterprise-wide test automation strategies and AI-powered Quality Engineering practices, focusing on modern framework architecture and team mentorship.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and drive enterprise-wide Quality Engineering and test automation strategy.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable Playwright automation frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Create reusable automation components, fixtures, utilities, reporting frameworks, and execution standards.
- Establish best practices to improve automation reliability, maintainability, execution speed, and reduce test flakiness.
- Lead automation coverage strategy across UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop framework governance models, coding standards, and quality metrics.
- Modernize legacy Selenium or other automation frameworks to Playwright-based solutions and establish migration roadmaps.
- Integrate automation suites with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Optimize pipeline execution through parallelization, selective execution, reporting, and quality gates.
- Accelerate adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities for test generation, defect analysis, requirement understanding, test optimization, and productivity acceleration.
- Provide architectural guidance on enterprise AI adoption within Quality Engineering practices.
- Mentor Quality Engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and coach engineers on best practices.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business challenges, recommend Quality Engineering improvements, and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Evaluate emerging testing, automation, and AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
Skills and Experience
- Bring 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and Framework Architecture.
- Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in Playwright with proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Apply deep knowledge of Playwright architecture, including fixtures, Page Object Model, custom utilities, reporting, debugging, tracing, network interception, and cross-browser testing.
- Develop strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript to write clean, scalable, production-quality automation code.
- Work with UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Manage Git workflows, branching strategies, merge/rebase concepts, pull requests, conflict resolution, and repository management.
- Utilize Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Bring extensive experience with Node.js ecosystem, npm/yarn, package management, and build processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in migrating Selenium or legacy automation frameworks to modern Playwright-based solutions.
- Apply practical experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies in software testing and quality engineering.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of AI concepts including Prompt Engineering, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, semantic search, agents, tools, memory, and secure enterprise AI adoption.
- Work with enterprise standards for secure and responsible AI adoption practices.
- Manage strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Bring excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
