GSPANN is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to provide L3 technical leadership across enterprise network infrastructure, driving automation, security, and high-availability initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction for enterprise network infrastructure and support complex production environments.
- Drive troubleshooting and resolution of complex network incidents (P1/P2/P3) involving routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, wireless, VPN, and load balancers.
- Design, review, and optimize enterprise routing, switching, firewall, and load-balancing solutions.
- Optimize infrastructure reliability by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and recommending long-term improvements.
- Design and implement network security solutions, including firewall policies, ACL optimization, VPN architecture, network segmentation, Zero Trust initiatives, and Network Access Control (NAC) integration.
- Lead infrastructure lifecycle management activities, including firmware upgrades, OS upgrades, hardware refresh, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Ansible, REST APIs, and Git to automate configuration deployment, health checks, compliance validation, and configuration backups.
- Implement and optimize enterprise monitoring solutions using SolarWinds, Logic Monitor, Cisco DNA Center, Splunk, Grafana, NetFlow, and Wireshark.
- Lead network modernization, architecture reviews, proactive monitoring initiatives, dashboard development, alert optimization, and capacity forecasting.
- Support L2 Network Engineers through mentoring, technical change reviews, Major Incident Management (MIM) participation, RCA reviews, and vendor escalation coordination.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Architecture teams to deliver enterprise networking projects.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, security, reliability, and operational excellence across enterprise network infrastructure.
Skills and Experience
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or an equivalent discipline, and a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise certification; a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Fortinet NSE, F5 Certified Administrator, or ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
- Bring 8–12 years of experience managing enterprise network infrastructure in an L3 engineering role.
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Aruba, and Juniper platforms, along with strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP, STP, EtherChannel, and VXLAN.
- Apply hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, including Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, and Check Point.
- Work with load balancers, including F5 BIG-IP and Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and wireless platforms, including Cisco Wireless LAN Controller and Aruba Wireless.
- Manage SD-WAN technologies, including Cisco SD-WAN, VMware VeloCloud, and Fortinet SD-WAN.
- Develop strong knowledge of cloud networking, including Microsoft Azure, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and AWS Direct Connect.
- Utilize monitoring and automation tools, including SolarWinds, Logic Monitor, Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP, Cisco DNA Center, Splunk, and Grafana, alongside Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Git, and REST APIs for network automation.
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, documentation, stakeholder management, mentoring, and leadership skills.
