Description

GSPANN is hiring a Senior Application Support Analyst to support and optimize retail IT systems across store, warehouse, and e-commerce environments. The role focuses on managing production support, resolving incidents, and ensuring seamless retail operations, requiring strong SQL and systems expertise.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technical support across retail systems, including inventory management, order management workflows, customer order fulfillment, omnichannel orders (web, mobile, and in-store), and returns and discount processes.
  • Support store and warehouse operations, including inventory counts and reconciliation, carton and pallet scanning, and put-away and picking processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues across store, warehouse, and e-commerce systems to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor and maintain seamless execution of retail workflows across physical and digital channels.

  • Ensure smooth coordination between store operations, warehouse processes, and backend systems.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrate strong experience in Incident Management and production support environments.
  • Apply solid retail domain knowledge, including inventory management, order management, fulfillment, returns, and warehouse and store operations.
  • Utilize strong hands-on experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) to query and analyze large datasets while supporting day-to-day store operations in the retail industry.
  • Oversee service desk operations to ensure efficient and effective resolution of Information Technology (IT)-related issues.
  • Work with ERP systems and backend applications to track and resolve inventory flow issues.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries independently for data validation and troubleshooting.
  • Build dashboards using Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as New Relic to monitor system performance.
  • Ensure Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems function correctly by performing regular maintenance and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Point of Sale (POS) hardware and software.
  • Ensure smooth execution of store operations by optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and accurate stock tracking.
  • Bring 4+ years of experience supporting day-to-day store operations in the retail industry.
  • Demonstrate strong SQL querying skills as a mandatory requirement.
  • Show flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
