Contentful Architect

GSPANN is hiring a Contentful Architect to design and build scalable, high-performance digital platforms using modern CMS and front-end technologies. The role focuses on Contentful architecture, content modeling, and developing responsive web applications with strong integration and performance optimization.

• Execute end-to-end project lifecycle activities across development and maintenance initiatives.
• Support the investigation and implementation of enhancements and new developments identified by business stakeholders to improve digital platform performance.
• Collaborate with software developers, architects, User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Apply best practices to address cross-browser compatibility issues and ensure a consistent user experience.
• Work within Agile development methodologies to deliver iterative and scalable solutions.
• Deliver outcomes independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for assigned projects.
• Provide oversight and guidance for ongoing development activities and project execution.
• Prepare proposals and develop accurate time and effort estimates for future work.
• Plan and schedule tasks to meet delivery timelines and technical requirements.
• Adapt effectively to changing requirements and ambiguity in dynamic project environments.

• 10+ years of experience building websites using Contentful, Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Vue.js.
• 8+ years of experience maintaining and administering content management services (CMS) platforms.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing responsive websites using Contentful.
• Design and develop infrastructure for modern Contentful-based web applications.
• Create and manage content models that define structures and relationships for content types such as articles, products, images, and videos.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of Contentful, including content modeling, usage of Representational State Transfer (REST) and GraphQL Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and management of content types, entries, and assets.
• Implement user interface components and pages based on design specifications.
• Integrate third-party services, such as translation platforms, into Contentful environments.
• Migrate WordPress (WP)-based content to Contentful by mapping data models and building automation tools.
• Develop advanced front-end solutions using React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Next.js and Gatsby.
• Work with Static HyperText Markup Language (HTML) generation and Server-Side Rendering (SSR) techniques.
• Visualize and deliver Contentful data effectively for web applications.
• Set up infrastructure for delivering Next.js-generated web pages, including Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and Content Delivery Networks (CDN), supporting both end-user delivery and content preview.
• Build complex web applications using React, Hooks, and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable components and front-end libraries to improve scalability and maintainability.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-enabled devices and browsers.
