Senior Android Developer

GSPANN is hiring a Senior Android Developer to build and enhance high-performance mobile applications using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose. The role focuses on developing scalable Android solutions, integrating modern APIs and services, and delivering exceptional user experiences across mobile platforms.

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.
• Develop and support iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, quality, scalability, and responsiveness across mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) designers, Quality Assurance (QA) teams, and backend developers to design, develop, and deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, high-quality code that adheres to established coding standards and best practices.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and provide accurate effort estimates and implementation plans.
• Participate in application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to application performance and user experience.
• Work within Agile development teams and support sprint planning, development, testing, and release activities.

• Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in Android application development using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose.
• Apply basic knowledge of iOS application development using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and architectural patterns, including Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM), Model-View-Controller (MVC), and Clean Architecture.
• Integrate and consume Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and third-party services effectively.
• Work with development tools and platforms, including Android Studio, Xcode, Git, and Jira.
• Apply knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) principles, application debugging, and performance optimization.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure application quality, stability, and maintainability.
