Mobile App Engineer - Android

GSPANN is hiring a Mobile Apps Engineer with expertise in working with Android OS, to design, develop, and lead the delivery of high-performance mobile applications. The role focuses on Android architecture, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern mobile engineering practices while driving code quality, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of Android applications to deliver scalable, high-performance mobile solutions.
• Develop modern Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Define, implement, and enforce coding standards, development guidelines, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor and guide development teams while collaborating closely with Product, User Experience (UX), Quality Assurance (QA), and backend engineering teams.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, application performance, security, and maintainability.
• Drive performance optimization initiatives and support Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Support application testing, release management, deployment activities, and production issue resolution.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Kotlin, Android Software Development Kit (SDK), and Jetpack Compose.
• Apply a strong understanding of Android architecture patterns, including Model-View-Controller (MVC), Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM), and Clean Architecture.
• Integrate Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and manage application data handling effectively.
• Work with Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Room, and Navigation.
• Demonstrate experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and guiding development teams.
