Description

GSPANN is hiring an Integration Platform Engineer to design and manage scalable Azure-based integration solutions. The role focuses on building secure, resilient integration platforms, implementing API governance, and enabling automation across cloud environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy Microsoft Azure integration resources, including Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Configure Azure Storage services, including Blob Storage, File Storage, Queue Storage, and Table Storage, to support integration workloads.
  • Implement secure connectivity patterns using Virtual Network (VNet) integration, Private Endpoints, and Service Endpoints.
  • Configure Azure Key Vault for secrets management and implement Managed Identities, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), and Shared Access Signature (SAS) tokens for secure authentication and authorization.
  • Design resilient architectures using multi-region deployments, availability zones, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies tailored for integration workloads.
  • Build and maintain YAML-based pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate build and deployment processes for integration components.
  • Standardize API governance by implementing global and product-level policies in Azure API Management (APIM), including rate limiting, security headers, and JSON Web Token (JWT) validation.
  • Integrate unit and integration testing frameworks, such as SpecFlow, and mocking tools into deployment pipelines.
  • Develop custom dashboards using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track interface health, performance, and transaction success rates.
  • Configure proactive alerting for message failures in Azure Service Bus queues and latency issues in API gateways.
  • Act as a Tier 3 (L3) escalation point for complex integration issues by performing deep log analysis and optimizing system performance.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering.
  • Apply strong knowledge of networking concepts, including Virtual Networks (VNet), subnets, Network Security Groups (NSG), Application Security Groups (ASG), Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Virtual Private Network (VPN) Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Domain Name System (DNS), along with troubleshooting techniques such as NSG flow logs and packet capture.
  • Work with Azure Storage accounts, including Blob, File, Queue, and Table storage, and manage access tiers (Hot, Cool, Archive), SAS tokens, access keys, RBAC, backup and restore, and latency troubleshooting.
  • Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, and Conditional Access, and troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues.
  • Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspace, and Application Insights, and perform root cause analysis using Kusto Query Language (KQL).
  • Handle operational responsibilities, including Level 2 (L2) incident management, problem management (RCA and trend analysis), change validation, deployment support, runbook execution, and SLA adherence.
  • Use tools such as Azure Portal, Azure Command-Line Interface (CLI), and PowerShell for administration and automation.
  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash, and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using ARM templates and Bicep.
  • Work with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
