GSPANN is hiring a Technical Program Manager for Retail to lead large, multi-year technology programs end to end, focusing on delivery governance, stakeholder alignment, and smooth rollout of new retail systems.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead medium to large cross-divisional, multi-year projects from initiation through planning, control, and implementation using the client's project management practices.
- Ensure delivery of core project artifacts, including the project charter, plan, schedule, requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Manage policies and procedures, standards, contracts, risks, and issue resolution across the program.
- Develop detailed project plans and manage project budgets.
- Collaborate with resource managers to organize project teams and align resource needs.
- Drive proactive identification, evaluation, and management of cross-project interdependencies.
- Manage program progress and communicate status regularly to sponsors and stakeholders, and to senior leadership as needed.
- Support strategic roadmap planning and facilitate portfolio review meetings with the supporting materials.
- Optimize business processes by identifying improvement opportunities and applying process improvement techniques to streamline workflow, communication, and resource efficiency.
- Ensure smooth implementation of new technologies and vendor integrations by applying domain and interface expertise.
- Collaborate with software engineers on technical walkthroughs to confirm technical feasibility and uphold standards across departments.
Skills and Experience
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent technology experience.
- Bring a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience designing, developing, and implementing software projects on open-source services frameworks.
- Demonstrate 10+ years of project management experience.
- Apply 5+ years of experience in retail systems development and delivery, which is an advantage.
- Bring hands-on experience with Xstore POS.
- Develop and execute implementation strategies for complex systems.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with a strong understanding of organizational change management.
- Apply delivery frameworks and practices, including Waterfall, Agile, Development and Operations (DevOps), and Lean, in the contexts where each fits.
- Demonstrate command of complex technical principles and concepts to solve a wide range of tasks, projects, and problems.
- Develop effort and impact estimates across solution options, and influence technical discussions and decisions.
- Work with distributed Unix and Linux systems, Python, Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application servers, clustered database systems, and source control systems.
- Manage and prioritize numerous concurrent tasks, coordinating activities with a high sense of urgency.
- Bring excellent presentation, verbal, written, and listening skills, flexing communication style across all levels from individual contributors to executives.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills in collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation to achieve business goals across broad teams.
