SAP FI/CO Consultant

GSPANN is hiring an SAP Financial Accounting / Controlling (FI/CO) Consultant to provide end-to-end support across SAP FI and CO modules, including configuration, integration, and business process alignment. The role focuses on core finance processes and controlling processes.

• Lead end-to-end support for SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Implement configuration, testing, and deployment of enhancements and change requests.
• Support end users in resolving incidents and service requests across FI and CO.
• Manage core finance processes — General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Drive controlling processes including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
• Ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with other module consultants across Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP), and with integration teams.
• Develop custom enhancements with SAP ABAP developers and review functional specifications.
• Build functional documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conduct end-user training.
• Optimize internal controls, audit, and regulatory compliance across financial processes.
• Design SAP rollouts, version upgrades, and system test plans.

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration and support experience.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of end-to-end finance and controlling business processes.
• Apply experience from at least one full-lifecycle SAP implementation or major rollout.
• Work with integrating FI/CO across Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).
• Develop functional specifications and partner with SAP ABAP development teams.
• Utilize S/4HANA Finance — Central Finance and Universal Journal, which is an advantage.
• Apply exposure to SAP Fiori apps for finance and controlling.
• Manage tax compliance tools or electronic invoicing platforms.
• Work with SAP Solution Manager for ticketing and documentation.
• Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bring experience in multi-country, multi-currency environments.
