Cloud Infra Engineer (GCP)

GSPANN is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GCP) with 5+ years of experience to design, manage, and optimize Google Cloud Platform environments. The role includes handling BGP routing, load balancing, VPNs, and firewall policies, ensuring secure and high-performing infrastructure operations.

• Design, configure, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Optimize routing and peering across projects using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to ensure secure and efficient network communication.
• Implement robust load-balancing strategies to enhance performance and reliability in production environments.
• Provision and monitor compute instances that align with project and team requirements.
• Control secure access to cloud storage buckets and manage Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunnels for internal and third-party connections.
• Administer Aruba Central to manage and monitor wireless networks across branch offices.
• Fulfill operational requests and incident tickets through ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure improvements and meet evolving business needs.
• Track sprint progress and updates through Jira while supporting change management processes.

• Configure and manage BGP routing and peering between projects.
• Implement and maintain server load-balancing solutions for production sites.
• Provision compute instances based on business and team specifications.
• Manage secure access to storage buckets within GCP.
• Configure and maintain VPN tunnels for secure access to third-party vendors.
• Oversee Aruba Central cloud management for access points (APs) across global branch locations.
• Execute operational tasks assigned through ServiceNow (SNOW) requests.
• Collaborate across engineering and product teams to implement infrastructure changes.
• Manage Jira stories for sprint planning, execution, and tracking.
• Contribute infrastructure insights during change management reviews.
• Administer and optimize GCP environments for performance and compliance.
• Define and manage firewall policies and tags for GCP environments.
• Maintain and patch applications deployed on compute instances to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Assign permissions to users and service accounts across GCP projects.
• Create and manage cloud projects and folders based on team and application needs.
• Administer user groups and access controls through Active Directory (AD) policies.
• Configure and monitor firewall rules and network policies for office environments.
• Manage file and print services to ensure controlled access to shared resources.
• Oversee Root Certificate Authority (CA) and Certificate Revocation List (CRL) management, issuing certificates for servers and applications.
• Administer Akamai Content Delivery Network (CDN) for web security, property configurations, certificates, and network lists.
• Manage integrations with Kandji, Druva, and Okta Active Directory (AD) connectors hosted on GCP servers.
