GSPANN is hiring an AI Lead to drive end-to-end development of AI and GenAI applications, building intelligent agents and guiding teams to deliver scalable solutions for eCommerce platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) applications, from design through deployment.
- Build agents using agentic frameworks, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and leveraging agent orchestration frameworks.
- Develop high-quality, secure, scalable, and reusable code in an Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment using Java and Spring Boot, and integrate AI solutions with enterprise Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and systems.
- Ensure enterprise best practices in coding, design, and secure development are followed across backend services and user experience.
- Manage development teams, coach and guide team members, and perform code reviews to maintain quality and mentorship.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Architects to understand requirements, and engage with stakeholders to support solution delivery.
- Design and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate proposed solutions.
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance of deployed applications, identifying issues and communicating solutions to peers and management.
- Drive daily and weekly status reporting to management, providing clear updates on progress and risks.
- Collaborate in daily scrum, sprint planning, reviews, demos, retrospectives, and grooming sessions.
Skills and Experience
- Bring 8–12 years of experience in application development using Python, Java, Spring Boot, React, Next.js, agent development frameworks, and the eCommerce domain.
- Demonstrate Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience, which is an advantage, including Simple Storage Service (S3), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Simple Queue Service (SQS), Simple Notification Service (SNS), Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), API Gateway, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and other AWS networking, security group, and administration fundamentals, including vertical and horizontal scaling.
- Bring experience building agents, RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, and agentic workflows.
- Work with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs and AI cloud platforms, including Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI.
- Develop agents using frameworks such as AutoGen and Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK).
- Bring mandatory experience in the eCommerce domain across B2B and B2C models, including eCommerce platforms, Content Management System (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM), Order Management System (OMS), payment, and loyalty systems.
- Utilize AI assistants such as Claude, Copilot, and Cursor to enhance development productivity.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques and embedding methods to optimize AI model performance.
- Demonstrate familiarity with DevOps practices for AI applications.
- Work with Agile and Scrum methodologies in day-to-day delivery.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to lead teams and deliver AI solutions.
- Bring strong problem-solving, debugging, and client-facing communication skills.
