Role and Responsibilities
- Assist System Analysts/ Architects in translating business requirements and functional designs into technical designs.
- Participate in design discussions for new requirements while adhering to the software development standards.
- Perform unit testing on all application functionalities along with supporting integration and load testing activities.
- Collaborate with the team members to ensure that the deliverables are on schedule.
- Resolve and mitigate production application issues.
Skills and Experience
- Stibo STEP Certification would be a huge advantage.
- 5+ years of experience working in the Retail industry.
- 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional team
- 5+ years of expert technical experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, data and database design, SQL, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux and Web services.
- 5+ years of Stibo Systems Enterprise Platform (STEP) configuration, development, architectural design, and integration experience - attribute creation, business rule creation, portal development, integration endpoint configuration, and workflow creation.
- In-depth understanding of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, or SQL) and ability to write/review complex operational queries.
- Good understanding of API RESTful services.
- Capable of defining deployment processes and methodologies.
- Should have good technical documentation skills. Must also be able to prepare solutions architecture documents and thoroughly review all the design documents.
- Build standards and reusable components as part of customization for new functionality on packaged solution.
- Assist the leads/architects in tool evaluations, architectural choices, and POCs.
- To have deep, intuitive analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical development issues in a limited timeframe.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
- Experience in building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
